We are seeking an HR Employee Support Specialist, a key member of our HR People & Culture team who will serve as the frontline ambassador for employee experience across the organization.
This role blends onboarding, HR customer service, employee relations intake, union-relationship support, and culture/recognition programming. Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & New Hire Concierge Support
Serve as the primary contact for new hires from offer acceptance through their first 90 days.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support new hire logistics including equipment, systems access, and workspace readiness.
Support orientation sessions and maintain onboarding materials and checklists.
Track onboarding milestones and provide proactive follow-up.
Employee & Leader HR Support
Provide first-tier guidance on HR policies, processes, and system use.
Triage and route complex matters to HR specialists (HRIS, Benefits, ER, Labor Relations).
Document inquiries and resolutions for continuous improvement.
Ensure all interactions are confidential, professional, and service-oriented.
Employee Relations & Union Support
Serve as the initial contact for early-stage employee concerns.
Document and escalate employee relations matters appropriately.
Support the Labor Relations team with tracking, materials, and communications.
Monitor employee feedback to identify patterns and opportunities.
Culture, Recognition & Belonging
Assist with culture-building initiatives, belonging events, and recognition programs.
Collaborate with the Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging (IAB) team.
Support ERG logistics, communications, and calendars.
Employee Voice & Feedback Programs
Support pulse surveys, onboarding and exit surveys, listening sessions, and focus groups.
Summarize feedback themes and support continuous improvement plans.
Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (certifications accepted).
2–4 years of experience in HR, employee experience, customer service, or similar HR-adjacent roles.
Experience With HRIS Systems (UKG Pro Preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfort using digital collaboration tools.
Skills & Competencies
