Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support conveyor technology within an automotive assembly environment. This role focuses on the design, integration, and optimization of conveyor systems used in assembly operations, including HEMS, slat lines, skillet lines, and conveyor interfaces between the paint shop and final assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, implementation, and commissioning of conveyor systems for assembly operations
- Coordinate integration of conveyor technology between paint shop and assembly lines
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and throughput
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and engineering
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience
- Experience with conveyor systems such as HEMS, slat lines, and skillet lines
- Understanding of automotive assembly processes
- Familiarity with VASS standards preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
