LabVIEW Test Engineer (Aerospace)

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled LabVIEW Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute advanced test systems for aerospace applications. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate embedded and electrical systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test systems using LabVIEW and NI tools
- Design and execute validation procedures for aerospace systems and components
- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and system-level testing
- Integrate test systems with embedded and electrical hardware
- Acquire, analyze, and interpret test data; generate detailed reports
- Troubleshoot and debug software, hardware, and system-level issues
- Collaborate with design, systems, and manufacturing teams for test coverage
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards
- Support system builds, installations, and test readiness activities
- Continuously improve test frameworks, automation, and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- 3 years of experience in test engineering or validation
- Strong hands-on experience with LabVIEW and NI (National Instruments) tools
- Experience with test automation, DAQ, and signal testing
- Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
- Experience in system integration testing (embedded/electrical systems)
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, avionics, or defense environments
- Knowledge of tools like NI TestStand, PXI systems, or similar platforms
- Understanding of industry standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD)
- Experience with scripting or additional programming languages
