We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer to work on safety-critical hardware systems for aerospace and ground-based vehicle applications. This is a hands-on role involving full lifecycle FPGA/CPLD design and system integration.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Perform requirements analysis, RTL design, synthesis, and simulation
• Develop UVM-based test benches and verification environments
• Conduct static timing analysis and power analysis
• Support hardware bring-up, integration, and qualification testing
• Participate in design reviews and design-to-cost tradeoffs
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Support production, validation, and obsolescence management
💡 Required Skills:
• Strong experience in FPGA/CPLD design and digital hardware engineering
• Proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog
• Hands-on experience with UVM test benches
• Experience with DO-254 (aerospace safety standard)
• Solid understanding of RTL design, verification, and timing closure
• Experience with hardware build, test, and system integration
➕ Nice to Have:
• MATLAB / Simulink for FPGA auto-code generation
• Experience with timing and signal integrity tools (e.g., HyperLynx)
• Knowledge of embedded systems and circuit card design
🎓 Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent
✈️ Travel: Up to 25%
