Job Title: Senior Windows Software Engineer (C , WinForms)
Pay Rate: $125 to $144/HR
Duration: 12 months (Possibility of conversion)
Location: Linthicum Heights, MD (Onsite)
Our client is a large Aerospace Industry Manufacturer.
We are looking for a Senior Windows UI Software Engineer (C , WinForms) in our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team to support a legacy COTS software with C , WinForms, and MySQL backend
- Design and develop UI/UX to enable high user adoption of the final software product
- Collaborate with users to identify design improvements to reduce the engineering effort of our new application
- Work with the software engineering teams to plan/scope work to be non-interfering with fast-paced project milestones
- Follow the agile framework
- 2-week sprints with backlog refinement and planning
- Complete work within the sprint with the review/support of teammates
Requirements:
- Experience developing WinForms applications and supporting complex legacy software suites
- Strong experience in developing software using C
- Experience in developing UI/UX interfaces with legacy applications
- 8 years of experience in developing software applications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications for UI/UX Engineer:
- Experienced software developer who can support backend software development tasks in addition to UI/UX updates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Utilized the Atlassian software suite
- Experience working within an agile scrum framework
Salary : $122 - $144
