Job Title: Software Test Engineer 1 (C / C#)
Pay Rate: $36/Hr.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Johnson City, TN (Onsite)
Shift Timings : 1st Shift -(9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
This position is for the Building Automation division.
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with experience in C or C# programming and an understanding of OOP. Also, candidates with experience and/or knowledge about test automation, GUI controls, smartphones, communication protocols, and methods used to validate software products are preferred.
- Executes functional tests on products.
- Work with team members to consult with Product Managers and the requirement definition concerning the testability of the requirement.
- Work with team members to analyze requirements in order to define test cases.
- Performs requirements verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete and conform to standards.
- Identifies potential technical problems or design flaws.
- Interacts with internal stakeholders such as support representatives, developers, technical writers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- Experience in C or C# and an understanding of OOP.
- Experience and/or knowledge about test automation, GUI controls, smartphones, communication protocols, and methods used to validate software products is preferred.
