Job Title: Quality Engineer I (Technical Drawing/Schematic)
Pay Rate: $38.78/Hr.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Draper, UT
Shift - 8 AM to 5 PM (Monday to Friday)
Our Client is a Global medical device Manufacturer.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer I to support our Receiving Inspection team. This role will primarily involve reviewing and correcting manufacturing routers (routing documents) in the JDE system, as well as redlining and correcting product drawings. A strong technical background in quality engineering and experience with incoming inspection processes are essential.
- Manage and update routers in the JDE system for the Receiving Inspection department
- Reviewing and fixing routers in the JDE system. Redline/correct drawings.
- Collaborate with inspection, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements
- Identify and correct data discrepancies in product documentation and routing
Must-Have Skills:
- QA engineering
- Receiving Inspection
- Product drawings
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- 1-2 years of experience required.
- Hands-on experience in Receiving or Incoming Inspection
- Proficiency with product drawings and understanding of drawing standards
- Familiarity with JDE (JD Edwards) and Windchill or similar PLM systems
- Excellent attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of quality systems and documentation practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
