Job Title: Microbiologist

Pay Rate: $25/HR

Duration:12 months

Location: Stamford, CT

Shift timing - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time - 4 Days a week (Monday to Thursday) - 32 hours per week, depending on the workload

We are looking for a Microbiologist.

• The position will be working as part of the microbiology laboratory team performing standard microbiological tests, such as preservative effectiveness, microbial limits testing, time-kill kinetic studies, and in vivo testing.
• This position will support the business with brands such as Dial, Persil, all, and Purex.
• Your main responsibilities will be preparing large amounts of microbiological media, using an autoclave, handling live microorganisms per standard procedures, performing basic microbiological testing, dishwashing, and reporting results.
• At times, the position may require working independently once training is completed.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience working in a microbiology laboratory or a degree in Microbiology or working on a degree in Microbiology with basic lab courses.
