Location: Walpole, MA

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Healthcare Diagnostics manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality diagnostic sensors by performing laboratory-based manufacturing processes, preparing chemical solutions, operating specialized production equipment, and maintaining accurate production documentation.

This position is ideal for recent Life Sciences graduates or candidates with up to one year of laboratory or manufacturing experience who are looking to begin or grow a career in medical device or healthcare manufacturing.

• Prepare sensor wafers by performing electrochemical chloridization, weighing, visual inspections, and documenting manufacturing activities.
• Prepare laboratory solutions using pipettes, analytical balances, and precision measuring equipment while following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Operate screen-printing equipment to apply conductive materials and sensor circuitry onto ceramic wafers.
• Accurately complete manual and electronic production records throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy for raw materials and production supplies.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Support continuous production while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar).
• 0–1 year of laboratory, manufacturing, production, or related scientific experience.
• Recent graduates with relevant laboratory coursework are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as pipettes, balances, or precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to accurately follow written procedures and maintain detailed documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with inventory control or materials management.
• Experience operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with quality documentation and electronic production records.
