What You’ll Do
- Break news and develop original reporting on OT and critical infrastructure security
- Produce features, analysis, and explainers on complex technical and policy topics
- Build and cultivate sources across industry, government, and research communities
- Interview security leaders, researchers, and policymakers
- Contribute to multimedia content (video, podcasts, events)
- Represent ISMG at industry conferences and briefings
- 5–10 years of journalism or editorial experience
- Strong background in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, or national security reporting
- Proven ability to break news and develop original stories
- Excellent writing and interviewing skills
- Experience building and maintaining trusted sources
- Experience covering critical infrastructure, ICS/OT, or industrial systems
- Familiarity with security vendors, threat actors, and policy landscape
