We’re hiring a Senior Correspondent to play a lead role in shaping coverage for BankInfoSecurity, reporting on financial cyber threats, banking and payments security, regulation and enforcement. This is a high-impact journalism role focused on:
- Breaking news
- Investigative reporting
- Deep source development
What You'll Do
- Break news and report on major incidents, fraud trends, and regulatory developments
- Develop in-depth features and investigative stories
- Build and maintain sources across banking, fintech, government, and cybersecurity
- Interview executives, regulators, and security leaders
- Contribute to multimedia content (video, podcasts, events)
- Represent ISMG at industry conferences and briefings
- 5–10 years of journalism or investigative reporting experience
- Background in financial services, cybersecurity, or regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to develop original stories and build sources
- Strong writing, interviewing, and editorial judgment
- Experience covering fraud, payments, AML, or financial regulation
- Familiarity with cyber threats targeting financial institutions
