We’re hiring an experienced Database Administrator to support data analysis and database management for a technology team in a regulated environment. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing database platforms, supporting ETL/data warehousing workflows, and ensuring reliable performance and operations.
Location / Work SetupRemote (Delaware-based team)
May require occasional onsite meetings in Delaware for larger issues/team collaboration
May include an occasional stakeholder conference (about 1-2x/year)
37 hours/week, day shift
Contract through 06/30/2026 (start target: late January 2026)
Administer and support database environments for an application team.
Maintain and enhance data dictionaries and logical/physical data models.
Maintain a central data repository and support the system development lifecycle.
Manage backup and recovery processes for data dictionary and related assets.
Define and maintain standards for data dictionaries.
Perform performance tuning, monitor performance, and manage capacity/space requirements.
Schedule and monitor end-of-day data warehousing jobs.
Assist with coordinating software releases and operational changes.
Provide clear status updates and document work performed.
5 years of Snowflake experience
ETL experience
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
