- Role: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Location: Bronx, NY
- Contract Length: 12 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (7-hour day shifts)
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Pay: $2,000 to $2,550 gross per week
💼 What You'll Do:
- Provide social work services in an inpatient medicine setting.
- Assess patients' psychosocial needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with community resources.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Advocate for patients and families while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
✅ Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED.
- Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience.
- Previous experience in an inpatient or hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Primary Source Verification of licensure required.
