What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Database Administrator-Columbus(OH)-Hybrid position at INFO ORIGIN INC?
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to design, manage, and support large-scale, mission-critical database environments in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Oracle 19c RAC databases, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Manage high availability and disaster recovery (Data Guard, Active Data Guard, RMAN)
- Perform database migrations, backups/recovery, and data refreshes (EXPDP/IMPDP)
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production environments
- Implement security features (TDE, Data Redaction, VPD) and ensure compliance
- Work with Oracle Cloud (OCI/ExaCC) for provisioning, monitoring, and optimization
Requirements:
- 8 years Oracle DBA experience (4 years on Oracle 19c)
- Strong expertise in RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning
- Experience with AIX/Unix, Shell scripting, and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI), Goldengate, and database migrations preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
