Position Title: Senior EDI Developer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Type: Hybrid (Contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Review and update documentation related to claims processing and EDI transactions
- Identify gaps in existing documentation and create comprehensive process documentation
- Serve as an SME supporting the modernization of the ACAPS system into .NET
- Act as a liaison between OTC team and Children’s program stakeholders for claims-related issues
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to:
- Gather and analyze requirements
- Align solutions with agency standards and federal/state regulations
- Develop technical specifications based on business requirements and system design
- Perform system testing for new and existing applications
- Ensure accurate EDI file exchanges with external trading partners
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transmission and data issues
- Provide helpdesk support for EDI claim transactions:
- Support healthcare providers using CSHCS system
- Assist in onboarding new providers and clearinghouses
- Work independently and coordinate with external partners and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in database systems
- Strong understanding of EDI file formats (835, 837, 210)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX)
- Strong SQL and database development experience
- Exposure to .NET-based application environments
Pay: $60.00 - $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
