HVAC Equipment Sales Specialist
Location: Danvers, MA
Pay: $50,000–$58,000 base DOE commission
Schedule: Full Time - Mostly Field Sales

What You Will Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers select HVAC systems, generators, and energy-system equipment that best fit their needs.
- Deliver exceptional communication and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new equipment opportunities across assigned territories (MA, NH, ME).
- Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and needs analysis to proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Work collaboratively with operations, installation, and technical teams to ensure accurate proposals and seamless project delivery.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to expand business reach.
- Create and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with growth targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot), including pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting.
- Provide leadership with market insights, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs.
- Support multi-year growth goals through consistent forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, Chief Growth Officer, and field operations teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- 5 years of outside sales experience with equipment or large-ticket solutions (HVAC, generators, energy systems, industrial equipment preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system components.
- Proven ability to uncover customer pain points, articulate value, and close deals effectively.
- Strong autonomy, organization, and follow-through across multiple accounts and priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and adapt schedule to customer needs.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
