Press Brake Operator

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team on 1st shift in Northern Colorado. We are a family owned and operated custom metal fabrication shop that has been in business since the 1980s. Our team takes pride in producing high quality work in a clean, team oriented environment with very low turnover.

This position focuses on setup and operation of both CNC and manual press brakes in a high mix, low volume fabrication environment. Most of our work consists of short run and custom fabrication projects with part quantities typically ranging from 1 to 2 pieces and occasionally up to 50 to 100 pieces.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Accupress CNC press brakes and manual press brakes

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Perform accurate bends and verify dimensions to print specifications

• Work with a variety of materials and custom part configurations

• Support short run, prototype, and mid cycle batch production

• Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Previous Press Brake setup and operation experience required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints required

• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures

• Comfortable working in an industrial custom fabrication/job shop environment

• Strong attention to detail and quality

Pay: $24 to $28/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
