Job Overview
A Customer Service Representative will work closely with the sales and purchasing teams to make purchase orders and sales orders seamlessly flow through the process. This position will be responsible for inventory management to ensure customers and vendors are serviced at a high level with superior communication. This will be done while supporting our operations teams across the organization to ensure raw materials come in at the right time and correct location. This position will be responsible for handling the day-to-day logistics functions and adding support for the sales and purchasing functions. Analyze customer data, collaborate with other departments, and resolve complaints. Identify areas where the system could be improved, review and maintain processes.
DUTIES:
- Handle day to day logistical functions and scheduling
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and plants for seamless transactions from PO request to delivery
- Monitor and deliver inventory at all plants, inform correct staff of needs for each location with time to react
- Monitor and inform sales and purchasing staff of communication that can be valuable to the company
- Identify and deliver financial savings from logistics relationships and Inventory management
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Coordinating with different departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Preparing production reports and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement
To effectively support the company's needs the Inventory, Logistics and Production Coordinator and CRM role will need certain hard and soft skills, including:
- Knowledge of raw materials and vendor and customer relationships
- Handles accounts to help seamless communication between our staff and the customer/vendor
- Fluent in use of Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing and communication tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions, disciplines and multiple tasks at once
- Attention to detail and ability to follow up on all open items
