Position Summary
Follows established policies and procedures to receive retail inventory in a timely and consistent manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Receiving & Data Management
- Responsible for receiving retail inventory by reconciling purchased items to invoices and entering items into the database.
- Set retail pricing and other identifying factors for all merchandise using established guides.
Inventory Auditing & Accuracy
- Work with the team to conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory counts to verify on-hand inventory and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Validate the accuracy of retail pricing, item descriptions, and store signage.
- Work alongside the Pricing & Promotion Strategist to review, correct, and adjust inventory discrepancies (overages/shortages).
Vendor & Financial Coordination
- Routinely review vendor statements to address any outstanding charges or credits.
- Work directly with the General Manager and accounting team on a consistent basis to address inventory questions.
Administrative Support
- Perform administrative duties, generate reports, and complete special projects associated with the price book, as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED plus three (3) years inventory/accounting experience. Must have a minimum of one (1) year of database experience receiving merchandise. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background. Native American preference given.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications
- Working knowledge of inventory control practices and basic accounting principles.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language both verbally and through written communication including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Must be highly organized with demonstrated success managing multiple tasks with laser focus on detail as well as proven project management experience with ability to establish and meet objectives on time.
- Required to use mathematic skills to calculate variance, margins, and percentages.
- Self-starter with ability to set priorities based on the tasks and organizational needs.
- Advanced user of Microsoft office suite, including excel.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to address inventory issues including pricing discrepancies and correct.
- Working knowledge of customer services practices to maintain high-quality service to both internal and external customers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
