Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the General Manager and/or Manager on Duty, takes food orders from the kitchen window and fills orders to be delivered to guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adheres to uniform standards set by the General Manager of the restaurant.
- Expedited food from the kitchen window and fills orders to be delivered to proper tables.
- Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
- Performs job duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Box menu items such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for takeout.
- Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.
- Replenish beverages at serving stations and or guest tables.
- Communicates to Chef and /or manager on duty, items needed to replenish supplies from kitchen areas.
- Deliver and serve all ticket items to guest at their table, confirm the order is correct and complete at the time of service.
- Garnish or complete any dishes per menu specs.
- Maintains good communication with co-workers and maintains a positive and professional work environment.
- Attend to guest needs or communicate guest needs to the appropriate server or manager on duty.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Degree or GED plus some experience in the restaurant or food service area as wait, staff or cashier. Must be alcohol certified. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference will be given.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:
- Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and customer service.
- Knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages, and desserts.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English.
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times.
- Ability to service customers in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment.
- Ability to obtain food handler's certification within three months.
- Skill in providing excellent customer service.
- Skill in utilizing computer equipment and POS systems.
