Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the GM of Hospitality, takes food and beverage orders from the guests, prepares the beverages ordered, serves the guests, and supervises banquet servers. Responsible for the banquet department when the General Manager is off-site.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Training
- Assigns daily duties before, during, and after shifts.
- Trains staff and sets expectations, priorities, and service standards.
- Enforces company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Guest Services
- Greets guests warmly and ensures a positive dining experience.
- Presents menus, answers questions, and makes food and service suggestions.
- Responds to guest requests and monitors meal progression.
- May assist with seating, bussing, and maintaining a clean dining area.
Operations & Event Support
- Oversees event setup and post-event breakdown.
- Performs banquet server duties as needed.
- Assists with quarterly inventory and maintains organized, sanitary workspaces.
Cash Handling & Compliance
- Operates cash register and ensures accurate cash handling.
- Complies with financial, security, and emergency procedures.
Team Communication & Environment
- Maintains professional communication with staff.
- Promotes a friendly, respectful, and cooperative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Degree or GED plus three (3) years of experience in the restaurant or food service. Must be at least 19 years of age with current alcohol server certification. No felony, theft, or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference will be given.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications
- Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and customer service.
- Knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages, and desserts.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to be personable, responsive, caring, knowledgeable, and flexible with all customers.
- Ability to service customers in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment.
Ability to obtain food handler's certification within three months.
Salary : $12 - $14
