Index Packaging is a growing custom packaging manufacturer with four New Hampshire facilities and over 200 employees dedicated to delivering innovative packaging solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead our Customer Service team while managing key customer accounts. This is a working supervisor role, meaning you'll combine leadership with hands-on customer support to ensure our customers receive outstanding service from order entry through delivery.

What You'll Do:

As our Customer Service Supervisor, you'll play an important role in supporting both our customers and our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Customer Service team while creating a positive and accountable work environment.
• Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts from order entry through shipment.
• Building strong customer relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Resolving customer concerns and escalated issues quickly and professionally.
• Coordinating with Engineering, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Monitoring department workloads, scheduling, and team coverage to maintain service levels.
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, and cross-training Customer Service employees.
• Reviewing production schedules, inventory, pricing, and delivery timelines to support customer commitments.
• Maintaining accurate customer records, order information, and documentation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve department processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Spending time on the production floor to better understand manufacturing processes and customer requirements.
• Traveling weekly between our Milton, Dover, Milford, and Merrimack facilities to support Customer Service operations.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading others while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.

Successful candidates will have experience with:

• Supervising or leading a customer service team.
• Customer account management.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or custom production environments (preferred).
• Building relationships across multiple departments.
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solving problems and making sound decisions under pressure.
• Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Associate's degree (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of foam, corrugated, or wood packaging products is helpful but not required.
