Woodshop Assembler (1st Shift)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Summary

The Woodshop Manufacturing Assembler builds crates, boxes, and pallets according to customer specifications, working both independently and as part of a team. This fast-paced, physically active role requires a safety-conscious, detail-oriented individual with experience using woodworking tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hand and power tools to assemble crates, boxes, and pallets per job specifications
• Inspect assembled products to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain a consistent work pace to meet production goals
• Strap, bundle, and prepare finished materials for shipping
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Competencies and Qualifications

• Follow task schedules and instructions accurately
• Read and interpret tape measures, specification sheets, and job documentation
• Safely operate nail guns and woodworking tools
• Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently. Team lifting is required for heavier loads. The work environment is a warehouse setting with moderate noise and temperature variations.
