1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

Pay based on experience, higher starting pay available for experienced candidates

Index Packaging is looking for a Woodworker to join our 1st Shift Woodshop team. You'll build custom wooden crates, boxes, and pallets using hand tools, power tools, saws, and pneumatic nail guns.

No professional woodworking experience is required. We're willing to train the right person. Have experience in woodworking, carpentry, construction, framing, or manufacturing? Higher starting pay may be available based on your experience.

What You'll Do:

• Build custom wooden crates, boxes, and pallets
• Measure and cut wood accurately
• Use saws, nail guns, hand tools, and power tools
• Read a tape measure and basic job specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We're Looking For:

• Dependable and ready to work
• Comfortable working with your hands and using tools
• Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and team lift heavier materials
• Must be at least 18 years old due to the manufacturing environment and equipment used

Experience in woodworking, carpentry, construction, framing, manufacturing, assembly, pallet/crate building, or other hands-on work is a plus, but not required.
