Role Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Maryland Heights, MO – Missouri or Illinois candidates only
Shift: M-F 8-5pm
Role Type: Direct
Pay: $100-140k

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment to provide engineering and consulting support for our projects and clients. Work closely with senior-level project managers and professional engineers to gain project management and engineering experience. Must be able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
- Assist in developing the scope of services, cost estimates, and proposals for a variety of projects including residential, commercial, transportation, and infrastructure.
- Perform geotechnical field work including field reconnaissance, preparation of field boring logs, obtaining soil samples, construction observation, and material testing services.
- Participate in geotechnical laboratory testing, engineering analysis, and development of engineering recommendations.
- Prepare reports, plans, and specifications based on engineering analysis.
- Attend meetings with clients as a representative of our company
- Project management activities to track and evaluate project scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management and maintain quality standards on all projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geological/Civil Engineering or related field
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) preferred.
- Open to all experience levels including Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to communicate via email and verbally
Compensation/Benefits
