The Program Manager plays a key role in customer fulfillment, overseeing programs from contract receipt through final product delivery. You’ll act as the primary customer liaison, ensuring commitments on cost, schedule, and quality are met while driving collaboration across internal departments, including Operations, Sales, Quality, and Engineering.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven leader with experience managing complex aerospace or defense manufacturing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers—driving communication, delivery, and program performance.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and technical quality.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics (KPI scorecards, reports, and milestones).
- Manage risks, resolve customer-facing issues, and remove delivery roadblocks.
- Support bidding, quoting, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare and present monthly program reviews covering schedule, cost, risk, and resourcing.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and facilitate customer site visits.
- Build strong relationships that align customer goals with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of Program Management experience within aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or manufacturing software a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and thrive under pressure.
- Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
