Job Title: Punch Press Operator

Location:  Kearny NJ 07032

Duration: Direct Hire

Shift: 

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate punch press equipment to produce metal components
• Load and unload sheet metal and raw materials
• Follow work orders, production specifications, and job instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and part specifications
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and consistency
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Identify and report equipment or quality issues
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and adjustments
• Maintain accurate production records
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Work closely with production and Quality teams to meet output and quality expectations

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous punch press or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery
• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
