Senior Project Manager – Structural Concrete / Tilt Wall Division

One of Southwest Florida’s fastest-growing General Contractors is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Project Manager to lead and expand our Structural Concrete / Tilt Wall division.
This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing construction leader to take ownership of a rapidly growing business segment focused on:
- Foundations
- Slabs-on-grade
- Retaining walls
- Tilt-wall systems
- Structural concrete packages
We are looking for someone who can do more than simply manage projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in building the division, developing client relationships, growing revenue, leading teams, and establishing the operational structure needed to support long-term success.
About the Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, financial performance, and delivery of structural concrete and tilt-wall projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed-use developments.
You will work closely with executive leadership and field operations to help scale the division while maintaining exceptional standards for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in concrete construction who is ready to take the next step into a more strategic leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of structural concrete and tilt-wall construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects including foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and tilt-wall systems
- Develop project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and manpower plans
- Drive financial performance including cost control, forecasting, billing, change orders, and margin management
- Manage project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and subcontractors
- Partner with estimating and business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
- Help establish and improve division processes, systems, reporting, and best practices
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability across the project team
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of future team members as the division grows
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management with a strong focus on structural concrete and tilt-wall construction
- Proven experience managing large-scale concrete packages including foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and tilt-wall systems
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, safety, and quality control
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and project financials
- Ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to help grow and shape a business unit
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in the Florida market
- Existing relationships with concrete subcontractors, suppliers, developers, and consultants in the region
- Experience with self-perform concrete operations
- Knowledge of local codes, permitting, and tilt-wall design/construction requirements
