Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking a Smart Expansion Sales Specialist to join our client’s team. This field-based role will focus on expanding adoption of innovative non-invasive blood pressure monitoring technology within community and lower-acuity hospitals throughout Southern California.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a driven medical device sales professional to inherit active opportunities while building new business across a high-potential territory. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating hospital sales environments, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth through both account expansion and prospecting.
Key responsibilities include:
• Sell a portfolio of patient monitoring products
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within community hospitals and underserved accounts throughout the territory.
• Manage and expand existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities for increased product adoption.
• Call on physicians, nursing leadership, critical care teams, EP Labs, supply chain personnel, and value analysis committees.
• Provide product support during evaluations, trials, and clinical implementations.
• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve quota and KPI objectives.
• Maintain a strong presence within hospital accounts through regular customer visits, relationship building, and case support.
• Collaborate with internal sales, clinical, and leadership teams to drive territory growth and customer success.
• Analyze territory performance and proactively identify opportunities to increase market penetration.
Required Skills and Background:
• Minimum 2 years of medical device sales experience.
• Experience selling into hospital environments with an understanding of hospital purchasing processes and key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and grow business within assigned territories.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer engagement.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% throughout the territory.
