Clinical Field Specialist – Advanced Patient Monitoring
Location: Gainesville, FL
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Clinical Field Specialist to support its Advanced Patient Monitoring business throughout Gainesville, FL. This is a hybrid clinical and sales role for a healthcare professional who enjoys working directly with physicians and hospital staff while helping drive adoption of innovative monitoring technology.
This is not a traditional educator role. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, relationship-driven, and motivated to build a long-term career in medical device sales.
Territory & Travel
Territory covers Gainesville
Approximately 50% overnight travel
Frequent early morning case coverage (typically starting around 6:30 AM)
Extensive overnight travel during onboarding and training
Three weeks of corporate training
Responsibilities
Provide clinical support during surgical and procedural cases
Train physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on Advanced Patient Monitoring technology
Drive product adoption and identify opportunities to expand utilization within existing accounts
Build relationships with key clinical stakeholders
Partner with the commercial team to execute account growth strategies
Support 2–4 key hospital accounts within the territory
Qualifications
RN strongly preferred (ICU experience highly preferred)
Adult ICU, PICU, or NICU backgrounds considered
Anesthesia tech or clinical specialist experience may also be considered
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced OR and ICU environments
Sales aptitude with the ability to influence clinicians and build relationships
Medical device experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $80,000–85,000
On-target earnings: $120,000–130,000
Uncapped earning potential
