Lead Operations Supervisor – Food Manufacturing & Processing
Up to $75,000 Base Time-and-a-Half Saturdays Bonus • Jefferson, WI Area • 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri)

- EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 3 years of direct production supervisory or line leadership experience within a food processing, beverage, or highly regulated, sanitary manufacturing environment
- REGULATORY ACUMEN: Solid foundational familiarity with food safety compliance frameworks, including SQF, FDA, HACCP, or rigorous GMP guidelines
- WORK SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift | Monday through Friday (1:30 PM – 11:30 PM) | Occasional production Saturdays required
- EARNING POTENTIAL: Up to $75,000 starting annual base salary Time-and-a-half hourly premiums for Saturday shifts Annual performance bonus potential Full corporate benefits
- UNION COMPATIBILITY: Prior experience managing production lines within a unionized workforce and a strong background in professional conflict resolution is highly preferred
- LOCATION: Greater Jefferson, WI area (100% onsite role; must reside within a dependable 45-minute daily driving radius)

What You Will Be Doing
- Shift Floor Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing production crew, managing daily shift schedules, and optimizing labor allocation across active lines.
- Throughput Optimization: Strategically planning and coordinating raw material flow and resource allocation to minimize downtime, eliminate bottlenecks, and hit aggressive shift output targets.
- Regulatory Enforcement: Championing a culture of absolute compliance by strictly enforcing FDA, SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety and sanitation protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiating and implementing localized continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) projects to enhance shop floor procedures, cut waste, and boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Cross-Shift Communication: Serving as the central operational liaison across departments to facilitate seamless production handoffs and clear communication between first and second shifts.
- Safety-First Advocacy: Maintaining a strict, zero-incident safety culture, actively conducting risk assessments, identifying floor hazards, and executing corrective safety actions.
What We Are Looking For
- Regulated Manufacturing Pedigree: A minimum of 3 years of verifiable supervisory experience in a sanitary, climate-controlled, or highly regulated plant setting (food, beverage, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical blending).
- Workforce Directing Habits: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct a diverse production team while holding staff accountable to metrics.
- Labor Relations Literacy: Comfortable navigating the nuances of a union environment, maintaining fair labor practices, and resolving floor grievances with professional diplomacy.
- Technical Proficiency: Competent using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) or localized ERP/MES tracking software to log daily shift performance and KPI data.
- Employment Reliability: A rock-solid, stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment and reliable performance with past employers; frequent job-hopping is a disqualifier.
