The Opportunity: Elevate your fabrication career with a premier, high-spec custom metal fabrication leader serving stable, elite sectors including medical, food/dairy, aerospace, marine, and advanced material handling. Operating out of a highly modernized, clean, and fully climate-controlled manufacturing facility, our client is seeking a precision-focused professional. This direct-hire role offers exceptional job security, real investment in your career (including tuition reimbursement), and a culture that completely avoids the high-stress chaos of typical high-volume automotive stampers.
- EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 1 years of dedicated, hands-on press brake operation within a precision sheet metal or custom job shop setting
- ADVANCED WORKSTATIONS: Direct exposure to or familiarity with premium multi-axis CNC brakes, specifically Amada HDS or HG Series systems (such as the HDS2204 or HG5020)
- CORE TALENTS: Strong blueprint reading skills, an understanding of bend sequences, precision flat layout interpretation, and a sharp eye for part tolerances
- EARNING POTENTIAL: Up to $28.00 per hour starting base (fully scaling with setup depth and independent programming literacy) competitive off-shift premiums
- SHIFT OPTIONS: Choose your ideal schedule—1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift tracks are available with flexible hour configurations to seamlessly match your personal life

If you are a skilled fabricator who is tired of working in hot, smoky, disorganized shops running outdated mechanical brakes, this opportunity represents a major quality-of-life upgrade. Because our client partners with high-margin, high-spec industries like medical and aerospace, the emphasis floor-wide is on zero-defect precision and craftsmanship, not just slamming out cheap parts as fast as possible.
The company structure is fiercely family-oriented and team-focused. You will operate state-of-the-art Amada machinery featuring automated touchscreen controllers and network-linked programming, giving you the elite tools required to maintain dead-on repeatability. Backed by a management team that rewards technical mastery with clear paths for internal promotion, this is a premium professional home to anchor your fabrication career.
What You Will Be Doing
- Precision Bending: Forming complex, close-tolerance parts and components from diverse gauges of sheet metal (stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel) according to customer shop prints and flat layouts.
- Machine Setup & Operation: Setting up tooling, selecting correct dies/punches, adjusting tonnage parameters, and operating advanced Amada HDS/HG multi-axis CNC press brakes.
- Quality Inspections: Conducting routine visual and physical tooling inspections, checking angle accuracy using calipers, protractors, and height gauges to ensure 100% compliance with client specs.
- Material Handling: Safely operating overhead bridge cranes, sheet lifters, and forklifts to stage, load, and position heavy raw materials at your workstation.
- Collaboration: Partnering closely with on-site offline programmers and secondary fabricators (laser, weld, finishing) to refine part processing windows and minimize scrap.
- Shop Safety Compliance: Maintaining a meticulously organized workspace in strict alignment with modern lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace cleanliness standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Fabrication Foundation: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience setting up or operating multi-axis CNC press brakes in a custom job shop or contract manufacturing environment.
- Print Literacy: Foundational ability to interpret complex industrial fabrication prints, visualize 3D formed parts from 2D drawings, and track critical dimensions.
- Metrology Competency: Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges) with a proven track record of holding tight sheet metal tolerances.
- Employment Reliability: A rock-solid, stable work history demonstrating strong attendance, a safety-first mindset, and long-term commitment to past employers.
