Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents, is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Business Process Specialist
DUTIES:
- The Business Process Specialist is responsible for overall administrative support to the Gas Supervisor and station personnel, organization, and filing of all code-related documentation
- Ensuring work orders and forms are prepared for distribution to crews and closed out when completed
- Assist in weekly & monthly work planning meetings
- Maintain overtime lists for crew members and prepare overtime lists for posting each week; reconcile all crew purchasing card receipts
- Monitor station security gate and ensure visitors are logged in and escorted when needed
- Submit monthly and annual reports, including but not limited to fuel & gas handling, operating and engine data, rectifier reads
- Provide continuous improvement ideas on administrative processes
- Provide team with overall site support, including but not limited to presentation development, scheduling of events and appointments with 3rd parties, entering service requests, and invoicing
SKILLS:
- Microsoft Office; written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments
- Ability to resolve issues
- Proficient in computer technology and software skills
- Effectively and efficiently perform highly responsible administrative functions
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
