Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Onsite - 4151 E Commerce way, Sacramento, CA 95834
Schedule: M-F 8:30am to 5pm PST
Duration: 2 Months Contract, Extension – yes Conversion – yes, but not guaranteed
Payrate: $21-23/hr
Job Duties:
- Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis
- Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform prescription data entry functions (preQA) by viewing images and inputting prescription information directly into the system
- Prepare and submit request for prescription refills
- Initiate clarification requests
- Receive verbal instructions from prescribers as allowed by pharmacy regulation
- Complete reorder processing for the timely filling of prescription refills
- Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Complete work list according to guidelines set by Manager
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Picking RX’s, packaging, and shipping them.
- Expect to work as a team and pull your own weight.
- No patient interaction, no insurance, good group of coworkers
Requirements:
- 1 year minimum Pharm Tech exp
- CA Pharmacy Tech license
Salary : $21 - $23
