Job Title – Shift Lead — Hardware Data Collection

The Shift Lead provides on-the-ground supervisory oversight for a team of Data Operators during their assigned shift. This role serves as the primary communication link between the Client's operations team and the client Site Manager, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate a team of 4–6 Data Operators per shift, ensuring all stations are covered and personal targets are met.
- DRI Communication: Maintain direct, frequent communication with the Site Manager and DRI, especially for protocol changes at the San Jose experimental hub.
- SOP Enforcement: Ensure all operators are trained on and adhering to the latest Client-defined SOPs; cascade updates in real- me.
- Safety Oversight: Verify that daily EH&S laser safety tests are completed and logged per the approved checklist.
- Participant Flow Management: Manage daily scheduling, ensuring steady throughput (~80 and resolving any bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, team leadership, or supervisory roles.
- Proven ability to manage small teams in fast-paced, process-driven environments.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing SOPs and communicate updates effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a classified, ARPA, or high-security work environment.
- Familiarity with EH&S protocols, laser safety, or hardware testing operations.
