We are seeking a Health Information Manager to lead Health Information Management operations, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize EHR workflows, and oversee medical record integrity within a leading healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage daily HIM operations, medical records, record completion, and release of information
✅ Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, and legal health record requirements
✅ Lead EHR optimization and documentation improvement initiatives
✅ Supervise, mentor, and develop HIM staff
✅ Analyze productivity, quality, and operational metrics to drive process improvements
✅ Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, IT, and hospital leadership
Required Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
✔ Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience
✔ Leadership experience in HIM (Supervisor, Manager, or Director)
✔ Strong knowledge of EHR systems, HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission standards, and documentation compliance
✔ Experience managing release of information, legal requests, and medical record operations
⭐ Preferred:
• Acute care hospital experience
• Experience leading large HIM teams and complex healthcare operations
