Must-Haves

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and execution of complex projects. This role is responsible for overseeing design development, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and delivering high-quality construction documents on schedule. You will play a key role in mentoring team members, managing project workloads, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and produce construction documents in line with industry and company standards
- Coordinate electrical systems with internal teams and external consultants
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget
- Conduct QA/QC reviews prior to project deadlines
- Collaborate with Project Managers on staffing needs, budgets, and scheduling
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineering staff
- Participate in candidate interviews and provide hiring feedback
- Maintain and grow client relationships to support repeat business
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10 years of experience in building systems design
- Experience across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, federal, or light industrial
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed
- Ongoing professional development, including 10 hours of internal continuing education annually
