Key Responsibilities:

- 4 years of public accounting experience with a strong tax focus (audit, industry, or government experience not applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA or EA preferred (or willing and eligible to obtain)
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience leading, coaching, and reviewing staff work

- Lead, train, and mentor Staff Accountants while reviewing and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Review monthly financial statements for accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Conduct strategy sessions for new clients and manage onboarding processes
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to business owners year-round
- Monitor client profitability and recommend fee adjustments as appropriate
- Deliver tax planning, prepare and review tax returns, respond to taxing authorities, and provide guidance on tax matters
- Improve workflows, implement technology solutions, and drive efficiency across your section
- Proactive, independent, and solutions-driven mindset
