Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years of civil estimating experience
- Proven experience estimating paving, grading, excavation, and site development projects
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam (experience with HeavyBid, Bid-To-Win, or AGTEK is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to lead full bid processes for public and private projects
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver complete, accurate bids on time

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates
- Lead and manage the entire bid process from initial review to final submission
- Quantify labor, materials, and timelines based on project scope and plans
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Prepare and present detailed estimates to senior leadership
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed
- Provide value engineering solutions to improve cost efficiency and competitiveness
- Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools
- Mentor and develop junior estimators while improving internal processes
