The Plant Manager will lead all aspects of plant operations, overseeing Production, Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, and workforce performance. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a culture of accountability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, managing a team of approximately 50 employees, including 3 managers and 6 supervisors
- Improve throughput, reduce waste, and control operational costs
- Ensure full compliance with USDA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, and all food safety and quality standards
- Maintain audit readiness, traceability, labeling accuracy, and recall preparedness
- Partner with executive leadership to enhance systems, performance, and long-term growth initiatives
- Lead and develop teams across production and support functions
- First shift production: Monday–Friday
- One sanitation shift
- Approximately 50-hour workweek
- Reports directly to the CEO
- $45.00–$50.00 per hour (approximately $95,000–$104,000 annually)
