Electrical Estimator | Kansas City, MO | On-Site | $80K-$105K Bonus Profit Sharing
One of Kansas City's most established electrical contractors is looking for an estimator who can own a bid from first takeoff to final number.
Must-Haves
- 2 years of electrical estimating experience, commercial construction preferred
- 5 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, materials, and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 a strong plus
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Experience estimating projects $10M ; candidates who have worked large-scale bids will stand out

What You'll Do
- Build accurate labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects from drawings, specs, and schedules
- Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Price specialty and standard equipment; maintain and update cost databases
- Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications and communicate them clearly to project leadership
- Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts
- Hand off bids cleanly to project teams for execution
