The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Patent Associate to join its Denver office. This role offers the opportunity to manage an active patent prosecution practice, including drafting patent applications and handling domestic and international patent prosecution matters.
Associates will work directly with innovative companies on patent strategy, patentability assessments, and related intellectual property matters. Attorneys may also have opportunities to support the firm's litigation and transactional teams on patent-related issues.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of patent prosecution experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field
- Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills
- Admission to the USPTO required
- Admission to the Colorado Bar, or ability to obtain admission in the applicable jurisdiction
