General Description
The purpose of this position is to perform visual inspection of cable/ harness assemblies to include but not limited to soldered connections, label content, and lengths.

The purpose of this position is to perform visual inspection of cable/ harness assemblies to include but not limited to soldered connections, label content, and lengths.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual/mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies and assemblies (in-process, final and shipping), as specified by Inspection Instructions and/or Engineering Documentation
- Perform, witness and/or audit testing (in-process and final) of components, cables, electronic subassemblies and assemblies, as specified by Engineering Documentation
- Review/audit test data results against Test Procedure, Engineering Documentation and/or Customer requirements and assures compliance
- Prepare and complete all necessary documentation (records) for reporting acceptance/rejection of items inspected and/or tested
- Prepare reports documenting results of special inspections, tests and problems; documenting trends on performance (visual, mechanical and functional)
- Identify basic areas of nonconformance to provide data to Quality and Engineering
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
- Three or more years related experience required
- Ability to use and read micrometers, calipers, electronic test and other measuring equipment
- Ability to read mechanical, electronic drawings and blueprints
- Must be detail oriented to keep accurate records and files
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
