Mechanical Assembler
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are expanding our production team and are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Assembler Technician to support the assembly of heating and cooling units. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complete start-to-finish mechanical and electrical assemblies while following blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, previous manufacturing experience, and the ability to build high-quality products with precision and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
- Perform complete start-to-finish assembly of heating and cooling units
- Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies according to work instructions and schematics
- Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical connections
- Crimp wires, terminals, and connectors to specification
- Perform induction brazing and soldering as required during assembly
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company quality standards and production procedures
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience
- Experience performing complete start-to-finish product assembly
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Experience with point-to-point wiring and wire crimping
- Induction brazing and/or soldering experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to successfully pass a basic ruler measurement and math assessment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Experience assembling HVAC, industrial equipment, or electromechanical products
- Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
Position Details
- Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
