Nurse Practitioner (NP) Wound Care

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner reports to the Director of Nursing and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

• Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, assessing and managing complex wounds.
• Develops individualized care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
• Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO, with recent patient contact preferred.
• Position involves physical activity, field-based work, travel, and adherence to safety protocols, with reliable transportation required.
  
  

Essential duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, team communication, and adherence to infection control. The role demands strong assessment skills, interpersonal communication, adaptability, and professionalism.

Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
