IDR is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves providing expert business analysis and quality assurance support for a major ServiceNow platform implementation within a utilities and energy sector environment. The position focuses on optimizing the use of ServiceNow modules, integrations, and dependencies to support organizational growth and technology maturity.
Position Overview for the ServiceNow Business Analyst:
- Provide advanced business analysis and quality assurance support for ServiceNow’s various modules including ITOM, ITSM, Employee Center, and SPM.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, elicit business needs, and define operational and system goals.
- Develop models, use cases, process flows, and specifications to guide software development and integrations.
- Evaluate existing systems for efficiency, ROI, and opportunities for leveraging ServiceNow upgrades.
- Support post-implementation activities, including incident resolution, functional training, and ongoing platform growth initiatives.
Requirements for the ServiceNow Business Analyst:
- 8 years of experience in Business Analysis supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to work independently between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL service management and software testing practices.
- 8 years of experience in data integration, solution design, data integrity, and analytics.
- 8 years of experience importing, exporting, and analyzing data for reports, presentations, spreadsheets, charts, and process flows to support business needs.
- 8 years of experience leading requirements-gathering sessions, creating process models, and developing detailed documentation.
