This role supports payroll operations across multiple states within a growing legal services organization, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance. Position Overview for the Payroll Coordinator:
- Support bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain employee payroll records and verify documentation for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliation, and year-end activities, including W-2 processing
Requirements for the Payroll Coordinator:
- 3 years of payroll administration experience
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
