Position Overview for the Business Analyst, Developer Experience:
- The role involves analyzing engineering and developer workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, managers, and product owners.
- Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics using tools such as LinearB, Sleuth, or custom dashboards.
- Support the development and enhancement of internal developer platforms and tools.
- Help shape processes in a relatively new focus area to improve developer experience and productivity.
Requirements for the Business Analyst, Developer Experience:
- 5 years experience in a similar role or environment.
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) like Backstage.
- Experience with engineering analytics platforms (LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack).
- Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems (IDEs, Git workflows, CI/CD).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
