GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Vice President of Pro Sales is responsible for leading Icon Protection's professional and trade channel strategy nationwide, driving profitable revenue and market share growth through a network of existing and new distributor partners. This role owns the commercial performance of the Pro channel, the strategic direction, and leads a team of sales leaders and Territory Managers to deliver sustained sales growth and margin expansion. As Icon Protection continues to invest in and expand its market-leading position within the Pro channel, this role will play a defining part in shaping that growth trajectory.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Channel Strategy & Distributor Partnerships
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Pro channel go-to-market strategy that drives revenue and margin growth through new and existing distributor partners in a number of professional segments including paint, construction, flooring, automotive, and marine.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributor partnerships to expand market coverage and share of wallet within the professional/trade contractor segment.
• Build and maintain strategic, executive-level relationships with key distributor partners to secure long-term commitment and joint growth planning.
• Own budget and forecast responsibility for the Pro channel, ensuring accurate planning, disciplined resource allocation, and alignment with corporate financial objectives.
Sales Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 8 direct reports across a broader organization of approximately 25 sales professionals.
• Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability standards across the team.
• Conduct regular business reviews, pipeline assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds growth targets.
• Build a high-performing, growth-oriented sales culture that reflects Icon Protection's position as a market leader.
Revenue & Market Growth
• Deliver consistent year-over-year sales and margin growth across the Pro channel.
• Drive new account generation and expand distributor and contractor penetration in new and existing markets.
• Grow market share and increase share of wallet with existing distributor and contractor customers.
• Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to identify and act on new growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to align channel strategy with broader corporate objectives.
• Provide executive leadership with regular reporting and recommendations on channel performance, market opportunities, and investment priorities.
• Represent Icon Protection at industry events, trade shows, and distributor conferences to build brand presence and strengthen partner relationships.
• All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience preferred, with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through distributor or channel partnerships.
• Experience in the professional/trade contractor channel, building products, paint, or related construction/industrial distribution strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build and scale distributor relationships, including new distributor identification, negotiation, and joint business planning.
• Strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels both internally and externally.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50–75%, including overnight travel.
