Summary:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Tech is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all properties occupied by Ibero American Action League, this includes our location in Albany NY.
Key Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces daily.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies, maintenance tools and equipment.
- Respond to special requests for pick-up and delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Perform regularly basic maintenance activities, including repairs, rug cleaning, snow plowing, landscaping, mowing, pest extermination, fixture replacements etc.
- Maintain agency owned equipment in good working order.
- Complete emergency and non-emergency repairs assigned by Supervisor.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and report issues to management/supervisor.
- Handle light plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as needed.
- Assist with setting up rooms, furniture, and equipment for events or daily operations.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain compliance with company policies.
- Maintain positive relationships and open lines of communication with Ibero personnel located at each site.
- May be required to be on call during non-working hours to receive emergency calls related to break-ins, fire alarms, or emergency repairs.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

- Must possess a valid NYS driver's license and meet Ibero Vehicle Operator Requirements.
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in building maintenance.
- Able to perform repairs and building renovations as requested.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
